Shelley is the owner of www.Fauxdecordesigns.Com in austin, texas and has had a lifelong creative fascination with color, design tecnniques since she was born and raised in a small farming community in central illinois. She appreciates the challenges of working with some of the most talented designers, architects, custom builders, commericial builders, and residential homeowners all working on the same goal: creating a beautiful decorative space within the home environment that becomes the focal aspect of the home and sets the stage for beautiful design. She focuses on perfecting contemporary advanced italian venetian plasters, roman clay, limewash, wall glazing, custom staining and modern custom finishes. Faux finishing is an amazing art that is unlimited in potential transforming walls into works of art.
